Looma exists to bring transparency, humanity and responsibility to advertising and commerce. We do so by connecting shoppers to the people and stories behind their favorite brands, and informing their purchasing decisions.

Our first product, Loop™, is a network of in-store screens that play short videos focused on storytelling and education. Position Description
As a Field Operations Technician, you’ll prepare, install, and maintain Loop™ tablet displays within the stores of our retail partners. This is a part-time role with fluctuating hours, perfect for someone who is seeking flexibility or is working outside of a 9a-5p job structure.

We’re seeking candidates who are:

  • Self-motivated: Interested in gaining experience with an ad-tech startup
  • Reliable: Responsive to outbound requests and diligent in adhering to deadlines
  • Organized: Both with physical materials and digital communications
  • Detailed: Particularly in matters of aesthetics — you’ll be responsible for keeping our Loop™ displays looking their best!
  • Joyful: Able to connect with store managers and be courteous to store employees

Responsibilities

  • Tablet preparation, installation, and maintenance
  • Tablet troubleshooting (includes, but is not limited to in-person reboots, remounting of tablets on store shelves, and restoring proper cable management)
  • Installation of decor (signage) on tablet displays
  • Store audits to ensure peak operating conditions of tablet displays
  • Assist in new pilot and rollout program launches
  • Respond to and prioritize urgent maintenance requests
  • Opportunity to monitor the existing network and provide remote support to other technicians

Qualifications

  • Applicants must have reliable access to a car and smartphone (for in-store audits); biweekly mileage stipend will be provided
  • Applicants must be comfortable lifting 20lbs, climbing a 10-ft ladder, and completing other manual tasks
  • Applicants must be proficient in Google Suite or have the willingness to learn. We regularly use Google Drive, Google Calendar, and Google Sheets

Structure & Compensation
This is a part-time position with a starting rate of $20/ hour.

A minimum of 10 available hours is required per week. Due to demand fluctuations within our line of work, not all weeks will have 10 hours' worth of work available. In these situations, up to 10 hours of pay will be provided.
